Hi Everyone,

My name is Shanae, and I am the director of Grace Early Learning Center.  I’m reaching out to ask for your support for one of our amazing team members.

On Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, Katherine Mohammed also known to many of us as Ms. Cookie lost her home in a fire. Thankfully, she and her family are safe, but as you can imagine, losing your home is heartbreaking and comes with a lot of emotional and financial stress.

Ms. Cookie has been part of the Grace Early Learning Center family for the past three years, working as our Perth Amboy District Relief Teacher. Before that, she spent many years supporting children and adults with disabilities. She’s always been someone who gives her all to help others.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to her.
