I’m Katharn, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself after being recently diagnosed with terminal plasma cell myeloma. This diagnosis has turned my life upside down and, like cancer does for so many people, it has come by surprise and put me and my family in a very difficult bind. I am currently unemployed, and the costs of treatment along with everyday bills are becoming more than I can manage on my own. I am not asking for a lot, just enough help to get back above water during this incredibly hard season of my life. This is how the funds will be used on a monthly basis

Transportation to and from cancer treatment centers $600 monthly

Treatment related co pays are $ 1050 monthly

Personal bills are $ 3000 monthly. Give or take

Support needed For at least the next 60 months

Red cross $1500 monthly

And cancer centers $ 1500 monthly

The support from this fundraiser will help me get to and from my doctor’s appointments, keep up with my personal bills, and allow me to give some support to the cancer treatment center as well. Even while facing this, I have teamed up with the Red Cross and we are preparing for a blood drive in Cypress, because I still want to do what I can to help others.
