My name is Katharina, and I’m a single mom of two doing everything I can to keep my children safe and secure. Life has thrown us some tough challenges lately. I lost my job because of immigration issues, and from there, everything seemed to spiral. I even tried to return to Germany to find safety and rebuild, but my ex-husband wouldn’t allow my youngest to leave the country. With no other choice, I came back to the US, but things have been incredibly hard.
Daycare costs are overwhelming, and without family or a support system here, I can’t work full shifts or make ends meet. Every day, I’m fighting to hold everything together for my kids, but right now, we’re facing eviction if I can’t catch up by December 4th. I’m not asking for much—truly, any support makes a difference. I just want to keep my children and me from ending up on the streets, especially right before Christmas.
All funds raised will go directly toward rent, utilities, and my car note, so we can keep a safe roof over our heads and reliable transportation during this difficult time. If you can give, thank you. If you can share, thank you. If you can pray, thank you. Every bit of love, every act of kindness, every share—it all helps more than you know. From my heart to yours, thank you for helping us weather this storm.
