My name is Katelyn, and I’m a single mom of four amazing kids—two of whom have disabilities. For years, I worked as a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist, but I often had to call off work to care for my children’s needs. Through my love of books and a large social media following, I found a new way to support my family and my passion: KMChaosBookReads, an indie author only bookstore.

What started as an online-only shop quickly grew beyond my expectations, thanks to the incredible feedback and support from the book community. I sell books, book boxes, and ‘blind date with a book’ packages, with most books signed by the authors themselves. The response has been overwhelming, and so many indie authors want to join in—but I’m limited by space and resources.

My dream is to open a physical storefront. With your help, I can secure a location, make any needed renovations, and purchase bookshelves to expand my inventory. This will allow me to host author signings, community events like sip and paints or bingo nights, and bring in even more authors and readers. In the future, I hope to have a bookmobile and an employee to help me reach even more people at events across Ohio.
