My name is Chelsey Stevens (Kannan), and I am raising funds on behalf of my best friend, Katelyn Bell (Gottberg). In April 2024, Katelyn was diagnosed with localized triple negative ductal breast cancer with a grade 3 tumor. She is currently being treated with chemo through infusion, and is doing everything in her power to fight.

I am raising funds to help Katelyn and her family travel to Chicago so she can get advanced treatment at The Block Center for Integrative Cancer Treatment and Wellness (link ). The center would require Katelyn to travel to Chicago, IL every 3 weeks, for 8 visits, to receive supplements and treatment. Funds would go towards the following costs:

• Plane tickets and hotels for Katelyn and her family.

• Supplements to support her through chemo/surgery/radiation.

• Portions of treatment not covered through insurance.

Any additional funds will be donated to a breast cancer charity.

Katelyn has been one of my best friends for over a decade. I am so grateful to have this wonderful person in my life, as are so many other people who know her.

Katelyn is such an amazing and inspiring woman. She is 33 years old and is a loving and hard working mom to 2 wonderful little boys. She’s married to Jay Bell, who loves and adores Katelyn so much and has done everything and more for her through this process. She’s a high performing international tax manager for one of the largest private companies in America (she is currently on long term leave from her employer while she’s undergoing treatment).
