Help Kate Recover What Was Stolen
Donation protected
I , Fr. John Cusick, am writing you with a very special request for a remarkably special person: Kate DeVries.
Thousands have witnessed the positive affect Kate has had (and continues to have) on our lives. A resume of her virtues, actions and activities would fill pages. I worked with Kate every day for 25 years and said publicly many times that Kate DeVries is the greatest reason for the Ordination of women in the Catholic Church.
Kate recently went back to her first ministry, education, and is now a special education teacher in Cicero, IL. It was while working online, like so many teachers are now forced to do, that Kate became the victim of a sophisticated and traumatic fraud scheme. It cost her $17,000.
Recognizing the impact $17,000 has on the financial security of someone who has devoted most of her career to church ministry, several of Kate’s friends want to help restore the money that was stolen from her.
This Go Fund me page has been created on behalf of Kate with her permission. Your contribution will both help restore her financial security and honor all the good she has brought into the world.
If you know other people who have crossed Kate’s path in the last 30+ years, can you please pass this request along to them?
Kate has asked little, if anything, from us. Let us step up, as best we can, and help Kate get back on her financial feet.
Respectfully requested,
Fr. John Cusick
