Hi everyone,

If you know Kate Reilley, you know she is hilarious, kind, generous, loving and goofy in the best way!!! Truly one of the most fabulous humans around!! She's the friend that shows up, makes you laugh when you need it most and is always the first to help anyone who needs it.

Which is why it's so hard to share that our dear friend Kate is facing something none of us ever expected.

Recently, Kate took a devastating fall and broke 7 ribs. While she was in the hospital being treated, doctors discovered something far more serious — a brain tumor about the size of an egg, along with a large amount of fluid surrounding it. The pressure from the tumor and fluid is affecting the part of her brain responsible for balance, which is causing severe nausea, dizziness and weakness on the left side of her body.

Right now Kate is unable to stand upright for long periods of time and cannot work. She has been in and out of the hospital as doctors work to stabilize her symptoms and determine the next steps.

We are currently working to schedule surgery as soon as possible so doctors can drain the fluid and perform a biopsy to determine whether the tumor is benign or cancerous.

Kate is also facing this incredibly difficult situation without health insurance, meaning all of her medical care is 100% out of pocket. Between hospital visits, testing, upcoming surgery and a long road of recovery ahead, the financial burden is overwhelming.

Anyone who knows Kate knows how much love and light she brings into the lives of others. She is always the one lifting people up, showing up when someone needs help and bringing laughter into every room.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
