We're reaching out to ask for your help for our dear friend Glenn Coleman and his beloved rescue dog, Kate—a loyal companion who wandered into his life just when they needed each other most.

How it started, Glenn began noticing a stray dog wandering through his neighborhood in Alabama. Day after day, she came closer, but kept her distance. Then, one rainy night, as if she knew where she belonged, she finally came to Glenn’s door. Soaking wet and shivering, Kate found warmth, safety, and love—and Glenn found a best friend.

Since that night, they’ve been inseparable. Glenn gave her a home, a name, and a second chance at life.

But now Kate needs our help.

She’s been diagnosed with a serious heart condition that requires life-saving surgery in New Orleans. Without this procedure, her time is heartbreakingly limited. With it, she has the chance to live the happy, healthy life she deserves—by Glenn’s side, where she belongs.

The surgery and related expenses are overwhelming for Glenn to manage alone. Between travel costs, veterinary care, pre-op and post-op treatment, the bills are quickly adding up.

That’s where we come in.
