I’m Christie, Kate’s mom, and I’m creating a fundraiser for my daughter Kate. (which seems surreal, if I’m honest)

Kate is a courageous 12-year-old with a rare facial arteriovenous malformation (AVM). She has endured 21 surgeries to manage her condition here in the US, with no cure. An Italian specialist in vascular anomalies named Dr. Colletti gives us a chance for a cure that is not FDA approved in the US. Kate will travel to Italy for surgery to remove her AVM in November 2026 and again in May 2027. The procedures are extensive requiring long recoveries and stays in Italy. We need to raise $210,000 total for both surgeries, hospital expenses, travel and lodging expenses. All donations of any size are great help for Kate to live a life free of endless surgeries.
