Sacred Grounds is a Edwardsville, Illinois Main Street institution  that closed its doors during the pandemic. Kate Baumgardner saved Sacred Grounds. Kate sold her home in Wisconsin & moved back to Edwardsville to purchase & reopen Sacred Grounds. She worked diligently to maintain the atmosphere and the menu her customers loved.  
The mainstay of any bakery is the oven.  Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but Kate's oven is on its last legs.  Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't.  Her range is older than she is and the exhaust hood does not draw well.  
Kate needs to replace her oven, range & hood.

It would be daunting enough  to replace the most critical piece of equipment in any on-going business.  It is exponentially more difficult to make a capital outlay in a new business during a pandemic. 

The need is urgent.
