Help Kate and Her Kids Recover from Tragic Accidents

Hello to all,
My name is Kate. These last few months have been a bit rough for my family, my 7 year old daughter, my 11 year old son, and me.
The stress started near the end of October. I had one of the most scariest phone calls in my life. My son's school had first called stating he had fallen in gym class and had complaints about his arm hurting. We were believing just a small fall in gym class, an ice pack may be needed, and on his way back to class. About 5 minutes later, I was informed from a phone call from a paramedic saying inside the school health room, "Your son is being admitted to the hospital, he broke his arm but we are not sure what else is possibly broken."
That's where we begun our huge change in our life. Come to find out, my son Matthias shattered his 2 bones in his arm and his wrist as well. Little did we know this healing process will be for 2 years. The doctors scheduled the surgery about a week after the accident, the accident happened on October 16, 2024 and the surgery was October 28, 2024. Thankfully the surgery was successful to help fix and reconstruct his arm and wrist bone, with 7 screws and a "T" metal plate. This will be a 2 year recovery with physical therapy and within the year from the 1st surgery, Matthias will have to go into another surgery October 28, 2025 to remove the "T" plate however the screws will stay in his arm to hold his bones together permanently. With insurance, they only cover up to the first 30 days of physical therapy, there after it is an out of pocket expense. This will become extremely financially tight as I am a mother of 2, doing this on my own with all financial side of things.
Within a month of surgery, we had a nightmare of our lifetime happen on Thanksgiving day. Approximately around 11:30 AM on Thanksgiving 11/28/2024, I had left my mother's residency to come back to my home to finish up food for dinner. The kids and I were so excited to have a big family dinner at my home since not a lot of the family has been to my new home. As I was going northbound to my residence, I had slowed down to turn into my driveway when all of a sudden a woman came down the hillside at approximately 50 MPH and slammed into my children and I causing my vehicle to spin 2 times and have my vehicle now facing South and slammed into another vehicle directly behind me. My car was totaled. I could not get out of the vehicle from the accident, I was pinned inside of my car and thankfully my neighbors heard the accident and came running out to my car to get my children out of the vehicle from the trunk and removed them while I was pinned inside and couldn't move.
The vehicle had caught on fire, airbags deployed, and smoke was everywhere. My children and I were rushed to the hospital as my kids sustained a lot of mental trauma, they also sustained mild bruises to the stomach, hips, chest, and head/face while I was in a neck brace and back stretcher, suffering hairline fractures to my ribs, a hernia, and severe bruising to my stomach, chest, hips, and left leg.
I was very lucky no other serious damage had occurred from this however, I was not able to file to have any insurance coverage as far as medical or loss of wages from the woman whom hit me because she had no license, registration, or insurance. Lyft and Uber was my primary source of income and I have been out of a car now for almost 2 months. Affording a car rental thankfully had been covered from insurance but only for a limited amount of time. I have been struggling with a lot of financial expenses, as rent is due, medical expenses are needing to still be paid, car rental, gas, the list goes on.
I finally was cleared to return to my physical part time gig as a chef, (as I've been cooking for almost 20 years) however, it will not be enough time and money for the rest of my bills and finances due. I have until the end of this month 1/31/2025, to come up with the late balances due for my rent and other expenses needed before the process begins of eviction. It's been a rough ending of the year however, I know once these bills can get caught up I'll be back on my feet before you know it. I just need a little help and support to get me there.
I have an amazing job opportunity coming up in a few weeks with a new cooking career however, I need to be able to afford transportation for myself and my children for school and work related till tax season comes and I can afford my own ride again.
If anyone can help, share, or has other leads of options, I will gladly take any help because I am definitely needing it right now. A little bit goes a long way. Thank you for all who has read my story.
