As I prepare to welcome my daughter Katalyna into the world, my family and I are facing a challenge that has brought both worry and hope. Katalyna has been diagnosed with a cleft lip and palate, and while her surgery will thankfully be covered by medical insurance, the journey to get her there is filled with expenses and uncertainty.
