Hi there, my name is Roger and on Saturday 5th June 2021, my fiancée Kat,passed away after a 2 year battle with Multiple myeloma which is a terminal cancer that is in the bone marrow.

In March 2019 , her femur suddenly just broke, it turns out she had a solitary plasmacytoma which had eaten away at her bone.
The started her on radiotherapy, this lead to high levels of calcium entering her blood stream which put her into a coma.

After coming out of a coma in August 2019 at the age of 33 she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer.

She started 6 months of chemotherapy and had a stem cell transplant in February 2020.

She went on to have just 1 year of remission which was all during lock down until March this year when the beast came back

highly aggressive.
she went on to start 2nd line treatment and after just 1 month we were given news that her kidneys had completely failed and the
treatment was no longer working and that there was nothing left they could do.

I refused to believe they had looked at all the options, then 3 days later they told us there were 3 more options.

She opted to try one more, unfortunately she had to be rushed to a different hospital with breathing problems where she was in intensive
care again, this put the start of the new treatment back.

By the time she was transferred to start her new treatment, she was reliant on dialysis and oxygen, they stopped treatment after just one week because they cancer levels were astronomical.

Her wish was to go at home and she made it, albeit for just 27 hours.

Myself and her parents were with her for her final breath.

She was just 35 years old.

A few weeks before, she made a bucket list of places she'd want to visit, this was never fulfilled.

I feel I have a duty to get her ashes to each of those places so she gets her final wishes.

Just 10 days after her leg broke in 2019, we should have been going to northern Iceland .
She had always wanted to go to New York, just for a short trip to see the sights.
She wanted to visit Tromso in north Norway , we're big fans of the northern lights which we have been lucky enough to witness
in southern Iceland.
We have a friend in Cyprus who she wanted to see one last time.
She also wanted to visit Jersey, i think that came from her obsession with reality shows like 'The real housewives of Jersey'
Due to her hospital appointments and that her leg never did heal properly, she was unable to join me on a tour of the
Scottish highlands and Skye in October 2020 so her wish was to do the same trip with me once she was better
and covid was over.
Finally, Cornwall was the very last thing she mentioned and the last day i was able to speak to her, which was 3 days before she passed.

I plan on leaving a mini urn with some of her ashes along with a photo at each of the locations.

Any extra funds raised will go to Sue Ryder, Shine cancer support and macmillan, the charities who helped her along the way.
