Hi, I’m Kat
I’m a transgender woman, and I’m currently raising funds for facial feminisation surgery (FFS) as part of my transition.
I’ve been on hormone replacement therapy for over two years now, and while that has helped me grow into myself, I still struggle daily with how I’m perceived and how I see myself.
On the fundraiser image:
- The right shows how I look now
- The left shows a realistic simulation of what I could look like after FFS, along with hair and makeup
This isn’t about looking “perfect”—it’s about being able to:
• feel safer in public
• be recognised and gendered correctly
• feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin
FFS is life-changing for many trans women, but it’s also extremely expensive. The total cost is around £52,000, which is far beyond what I can afford alone.
I know this is a huge amount, so right now I’m just trying to take the first step and build some momentum.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would genuinely mean the world to me. Even just sharing this page would help more than you might realise.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give
