My name is Jake Gerstel. My friend Kassie Black got hit by a car on her bike. Hit and run. Shattered pelvis, broken facial bones, broken hand bones, her head had blood inside and pressure. Kassie is now in the ICU fighting for her life. We need money to purchase a hotel stay for her mother.

Kassie's mother is in Minnesota and in poor health. She is saving up to take a bus down to Arizona to be with her daughter, but she has nowhere to stay when she gets here and no money for a hotel. Please help us raise enough money to get her a hotel room so she can be with her daughter during this time.

UPDATE: Thank you so much to the community for all of the help so far. Kassie has just finished multiple surgeries after experiencing several seizures and a blood clot in her brain. Her doctors are optimistic, but healing will take time and we are helping her family continue to stay here with extended hotel stays and assisting with meals.
