Hello, my name is Jenna Harris, and I am the mom to these two beautiful girls, Kassie (16) and Autumn (1). They are 2 of my 7 children. In the last couple of months, both of my girls' health have been a heart-breaking challenge, from tons of doctors' appointments to back-to-back ER trips, ambulance rides, and extensive testing.

Autumn was born at 35 weeks' gestation and came home with no issues, or so we thought. Within a few days of birth, she started having issues with keeping her formula down. We went through every formula possible, and none of them seemed to help her. Once she started eating table food in the last few months, she started having more complicated issues that eventually landed her in the ER at Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, AL. She stayed the whole week of Halloween and was diagnosed with Pediatric Gastroparesis (Paralyzed Stomach), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (due to it taking days to digest one meal at a time), and Malabsorption of Fat (which means her little body doesn't retain any of the fat that she ingests). We still do not have all of the tests back yet and are still waiting on answers so we can give her the best possible care and support that we can to keep her comfortable and help her grow properly. A feeding tube might eventually be an option sometime in the future depending on how her stomach reacts to treatments.

Kassie, just last year, was a normal 16-year-old in her junior year of high school. She was getting good grades and excelling in JROTC. All of that changed this summer when she started having random passing out spells. At first, it was few and far between, but in the last 2 months, it has gotten to the point that it is controlling her life completely. Things she used to be able to do she's not able to do or enjoy anymore due to the unknown. She was diagnosed with P.O.T.S. and was put on a heart monitor for 30 days. As time went on, her passing out spells worsened. Not only has the passing out gotten worse, but she is also now having seizures when she passes out with no known cause. After several ambulance trips and doctors' appointments, she was admitted on 11/10/2025 to Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, AL for further observation for her episodes. As of today, we are no closer to having any answers than we were before.

Since all of this has come to be with the girls, I have missed a ton of work. We are paying out tons on gas (to appointments and back and forth to the hospital). Autumn is on special milk, KATE FARMS, and it's super expensive (WIC doesn't cover it and her insurance only gives her so many a month and it's never enough). We have 5 boys that we have to also care for on top of the girls. Christmas is coming up and anything to help with gas, medical supplies, missed income, hospital stays, Autumn's specialty milk, etc., will be a great help!

Even if you can't physically donate, we need and appreciate your prayers and support more than ever. SHARING this out is helpful too.

*All funds will go towards Medical expenses for both girls, travel expenses for the girls, care for the other children while i'm unable to work from caring for my girls during their time of need, ect.*
