My name is Ana and I am raising money to enroll my daughter Kassandra in reading lessons because she’s really struggling. Kassandra is currently in the 6th grade but is reading at the 1st grade level.

Kassandra loves math but because of her reading difficulties she can’t participate in her favorite subject as much as she would like and she feels very sad because of this. I also don't want her reading to impact her ability to learn the other school subjects.

Kassandra is an English Language Learner and it can be confusing to process both her native language and English at the same time.

With this money, we will be enrolling Kassandra in reading sessions with LearnUp Centers. We applied for financial aid with LearnUp and for every donation made to this GoFundMe, LearnUp Centers will match the amount so that we can get Kassandra 80 sessions of reading intervention.
