Help Kassandra get through her cancer treatment

Hi my name is Bev, I am Kassandra‘s mother. As many of you know, our Kassandra has been going through treatment for a fast growing breast cancer since April.

She had a partial mastectomy and had lymph glands removed in April. That was a long and painful recovery but she hung in there and has now also completed the entire regime of chemotherapy. Her last treatment was October 6.

Last month she discovered another lump. Two biopsies came back “inconclusive” so she will need to undergo another surgery, which is scheduled for October 19. After that Kassandra will be undergoing eight weeks of radiation which will be an intense treatment, five days a week.

she has been very exhausted and experiencing the side effects of chemotherapy but has had some good days.

The next phase , more surgery and radiation, will take her to the end of this journey, we are hoping and praying for a full recovery of course. We appreciate all the support so far but we are now reaching out again to help her get through the last leg of this journey. If all goes well, she hopes to be back to work and a normal life in mid January.
