Help Kasia Fight Cancer

Hello. I have created this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden my co-worker and his beautiful fiance, Kasia, will soon be faced with. I have not known Donnie for very long. However, in the short three months that I have, I have gathered that he loves and adores his fiance with all of his heart. It was heartbreaking for all of us at the office to learn that she has fallen ill, especially at a time in their life when "life" is just getting started. Now onto Kasia. Her full name is Catherine Dudek and she is 24 years old, born and raised in Illinois. She recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago with Bachelors' of Science in Biology and Psychology, and shortly after began working in Ophthalmology with the goal of pursuing further schooling to obtain a Doctor of Optometry degree. Growing up, she has always wanted to be a physician; now, she can't see herself doing anything other than serving the community as a healthcare professional. She met the love of her life in 2018, who not too long ago asked her to marry him in December 2019 on Clearwater Beach in Florida. ((Yes the office staff heard all about it, ha!) Fast forward to January 2020. Unfortunately, life as well as her hopes and dreams, took a turn for the worst... March 12th, 2020, she was officially diagnosed with an 18 cm mass in her chest, which turned out to be Hodgkin's Lymphoma Stage IIII Cancer. Her recent PET scan results revealed that her cancer has now spread to her bones and is very aggressive.  Due to her current health status, she has been placed on  "house arrest" and will be unable to return to work or school for another 6 months or longer as she undergoes intensive chemotherapy treatment. Nobody wants to hear this type of news...let alone at 24 when life is just getting started. The news is unexpected and this lovely couple needs our help. Despite everything, they continue to stay positive for their future, her treatment, and a quick recovery. Although financial help would be wonderful, please help Kasia through the power of prayer as well. She truly appreciates your love and support during this trying and emotional time. Thank you.
