Our baby boy, Kashton, is only 3 years old and already fighting a battle most adults will never face. He has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy, a disease that slowly takes away muscle strength and can dangerously affect the heart. There’s no cure yet, but we refuse to let this diagnosis define his future. Every day we watch him push through weakness, stumble and get back up, and smile through pain he can’t even put into words. Kashton faces this situation with the brightest smile and the biggest heart. We’re raising funds to get a wheelchair accessible vehicle and cover the overwhelming costs of doctor visits, heart monitoring, specialized therapy, and the possibility of traveling for clinical trials that could one day save his life. If you can donate, share, or keep Kashton in your prayers, you are giving him a chance at more birthdays, more giggles, and more time to be the happy, fearless child he deserve to be.
