I’m writing this on behalf of my husband Kasey and our son, Jaxson.

Over the last six months, our lives have been turned upside down. What started as a post-viral recovery, quickly spiraled into a confusing and painful health crisis for Kasey. He began experiencing extreme muscle soreness, weakness, and twitching that has spread throughout his body. Despite countless doctor visits, screening for auto immune conditions, trips to the ER and the neurologist, endless tests (including tons of bloodwork, MRIs, x rays, CT scans, and EMGs), as well as trying different treatments, we still don’t have a clear diagnosis. We’ve been told it may be related to long COVID, heavy metal toxicity, or a post-viral condition, but answers remain frustratingly out of reach.

During this time, Kasey has gone from being the active, strong, and supportive partner and father we’ve always known, to someone fighting each day just to feel stable in his own body. Watching the person you love struggle like this, without answers or effective treatment, has been heartbreaking.

As his wife, I’ve had to take on the role of sole provider—caring for Jaxson and Kasey, while trying to keep up with work, bills, new stressors, and everyday life. It’s been overwhelming, and we simply can’t keep doing this alone.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Your support would go directly toward:

• Covering ongoing and specialized medical tests and treatments that insurance won’t pay for.

• Travel expenses for appointments with specialists and clinics.

• Basic living costs for our family while Kasey is unable to work.

Just four months ago, Kasey was a strong and healthy 35-year-old. We’re holding onto hope that with the right care, he can heal and we can return to the life we once knew. Our son, Jaxson, deserves to have his dad healthy and present, and my greatest wish is to see Kasey play, laugh, and thrive again—free from this constant pain.
