Hi friends and fam!

My friend Katherine (Kasey) Chappell has been out of work for over a year, and has hit the point where she can no longer pay her utilities or mortgage. While she continues to look for a job, I'm hoping to raise money to help her cover these bills, with the goal that she won't end up losing her home. If you have some money to spare, I hope you'll consider donating.

And if anyone has any tips on a job, it would be super appreciated! (Her background is primarily in writing, religious publishing, and marketing, although she also has a degree in folklore and some museum experience.) She's applied to a ton of jobs and interviewed for several, but nothing has quite worked out.

I've set the goal at $8,000 -- she's a couple of months behind in payments, and I don't know when she will be able to secure a job--but of course any amount, however big or small, will help. Thank you so much for considering!!
