Kaselynn Elisha Rhone is a joyful 7-month-old who has already faced more challenges than most people do in a lifetime. Born at 34 weeks on October 29, 2024, she spent her first 43 days in the NICU, battling numerous lung issues. Despite these early struggles, Kaselynn has always managed to greet each day with a smile, inspiring everyone around her with her resilience and spirit.

Recently, Kaselynn was admitted to the cardiac ICU at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital due to severe pulmonary hypertension. After several treatments and genetic testing, doctors discovered she has a rare genetic mutation called TBx4—something never before seen in Oklahoma. With her condition so unique and complex, Kaselynn is now being transported to Houston Children’s Hospital to be evaluated for a possible lung transplant. This next step is both urgent and daunting for our family.

The journey ahead means significant travel, time away from work, and mounting medical expenses that insurance won’t fully cover. We are doing everything we can to stay strong for Kaselynn, but the financial strain is overwhelming.
