Help Kasandra's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
My 25 year old daughter Kasandra, mother of 2 young girls, Hazel (4) and Izzy (3), was diagnosed with Lupus at age 15. Back in Feb, she began having severe pain and issues in her left foot with circulation. Within a matter of 3 months the tissue in her toes was literally dying. 4 hospitalizations in the last 3 months and many unanswered questions was finally seen by a doctor that was able to discover what was going on but also told us that her best chance would be to amputate her leg below the knee. She also will be at risk for this to happen in her other extremities but they have come up with a treatment plan to hopefully prevent any further amputation.
Now that the shock has settled from the news we received regarding Kasandra's diagnosis, and her surgery is complete. We have come to realize that there will be a long road ahead. We are not exactly sure what this will look like going forward financially. But with a long road to recovery ahead, we look to our friends and family to help if you are able, between accumulated medical bills, and future ones, the cost of a prosthetic leg, and missed work we want to make sure that Kasandra, her girls, and the family have what they need to help her get through this.
