We are heartbroken to share the loss of an incredible young man who was taken far too soon. He was a student, a teammate, a friend and a son who brought so much kindness and light to everyone around him, and he had a smile that could light up a room. Karter had a way of making an impact wherever he went – whether on the field, in the classroom, or just spending time with friends.
We are coming together as a community to support Karter’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Because he passed away out of state, there are unexpected expenses involved in bringing him home, along with funeral costs and time away from work. No family should have to face this kind of loss, and we hope to help ease the financial burden so they can focus on grieving and honoring his life. Karter meant so much to this community, and this is one small way we can show our support and stand beside his family.
Any donation, no matter the amount, is truly appreciated. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Karter’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
Karter will always be remembered for the impact he had on those around him and the Stanwood-Camano community. The loss of someone so young will be felt deeply, but his life and the memories he created will stay with all of us forever. Karter, you will never be forgotten.
