My wife has had two strokes on December 17.  We have no insurance because I work for a company that has few employees and can't afford the premiums. We have racked up almost $250,000 in medical costs.

The money I need is just for rehabilitation for her.  Because we have no insurance Karrie will be sent home from the hospital with no help with rehabilitation or hope for recovery. Because of both strokes she has vision issues.  Also she is paralyzed on her left arm and leg.  Her core and back muscles don't work and she has a hard time holding up her head.  These issues can be reversed with rehabilitation. the faster she gets rehab the better chance for a complete recovery.  with out these services she will remain bed ridden and most likely have her life cut short.  The est. cost to get her whare she can function on her own is around $50,000 they are telling me.  I have not worked since her stroke and have no other income.  It is hard for me to ask for money but I will do anything to help my wife. I am desperate because time is so important.

Before her stroke she was working her animals. Bottle feeding orphaned goats and sheep. She also raised chickens, ducks, and turkeys. 

Karrie is working hard and has come a long way from whare she started. But my abilities to rehab her is limited because of my knowledge of the field.
