Hi, my name is Melinda Gudmundsson. My best friend, Karrie Urick, unexpectedly lost her mother on December 28, 2025. She was able to donate her body to science and her cremation was covered afterwards.

Tragically, on April 12, 2026, Karrie was notified by the police that her father had been found deceased in his home for an unknown number of days.

Due to these circumstances, she is unable to donate his body and have cremation covered afterwards.

Karrie is having to pay for the cost of cremation and additional fees on her own after just having moved into a new home.
