Thank you! Again, thank you! That is how I want to start this fundraising description because you took your time to open it.

My name is Karolina Wieclaw and I am not the one who needs help because usually if I need any help, my dad is ALWAYS the one coming to the rescue. This time I am trying my best to help my dad get back on his feet after last night's Hurricane Helen flood.

Just a couple of days ago, we were praying for our friends and family in Poland who lost everything due to the flood, and I would never think that just days apart, my beloved dad would need to face the same loss.

As some of you know, my dad lives in Florida (New Port Richey) and last night, due to Hurricane Helen, he lost everything he had in his apartment. I have been shedding some tears this morning because I didn’t even realize that you can lose everything you have just overnight. There is not really one thing that can be saved.

As of right now, his place is not livable. There is no power and won’t be for another two weeks. All his belongings needed to go. Nothing to come back to. I know it’s a long road to get his place back because of the water damage, and the only thing I can do right now is to help him financially by organizing this fundraiser.

Unfortunately, he did not have flood insurance since this place has never experienced a flood for over a hundred years. Most of his neighbors did not have flood insurance either.

If you feel in your heart that you could help me raise some money for him (anything would be greatly appreciated) so he can at least get new walls, floors, cabinets, air conditioner, and furnace, I would greatly appreciate it. I can promise you my prayers as I also ask you to pray for him as he needs your prayers now.

I thank God he is okay, and like I told him today not to worry much about the things he has lost because there is an army of people that care about him and we will get through this together.
