Help Karolina Keep Family Together Amidst Unimaginable Loss

I come to you today with a heartfelt plea for a woman who has touched so many lives with her kindness, resilience, and unwavering strength. My hair stylist, Karolina, is facing a heart-wrenching situation that no one should have to endure. Her beloved sister is losing her battle with cancer, with just weeks left to live, leaving behind two children—a 12-year-old and a 17-year-old, one of whom has special needs. When her sister passes, Karolina will be left with the enormous responsibility of caring for her niece and nephew, on top of her own three children, while trying to manage the financial burdens her sister’s illness has left behind.

Karolina is one of the most industrious, selfless, and enterprising people I’ve ever known. She runs a small salon and is the embodiment of resilience, tackling every challenge life throws at her with grace and resolve. However, the reality she is about to face is overwhelming, even for someone as strong as Karolina.

With her sister’s passing, Karolina will suddenly be a mother to five children, one with special needs, in a home that isn’t big enough to accommodate them all. On top of that, the financial strain is immense. Her sister has not been able to work for years while caring for her special needs child, leaving behind financial commitments not just currently, but into the future. Karolina may be forced to sell the very business she has poured her heart and soul into just to keep a roof over her family’s head.

Despite these crushing circumstances, Karolina continues to face each day with bravery, refusing to let her spirit be broken. The reality is, she needs help, and she cannot do it alone.

I have started this GoFundMe with a personal donation of £1000, hoping to ease the burden for this incredible woman who has given so much to others. The funds raised will go towards providing stable and specialized care for her niece and nephew, making necessary structural adjustments to her home to accommodate five children, and helping her navigate the overwhelming financial challenges that lie ahead.

I have never reached out like this before, but if you knew Karolina, you would understand why I am so passionate about helping her. She is humble, hard-working, an incredible mother and female role model, and she has never asked for anything—but now, she needs a community of support around her.
