Wind has been hospitalized with Covid-19 since November 4th. She made it off the vent and now needs intense inpatient physical therapy to regain her strength so she may return home to her family. She is currently in the first of two therapy programs; however, this program is located a great distance away from her home. Her oldest daughter, Karli, has chosen to stay with her mom at the hospital’s adjoining inn to provide her mom with much-needed moral support and physical assistance. Unfortunately, that choice required Karli to step away from her only source of income: a long-term substitute teacher position. We sincerely appreciate all of the encouragement, prayers, and positive vibes that many of you have passed along already. They’ve been helpful not only for Wind, but also for her family members who have been struggling along with her.
