Hi, my name is Clete Snell, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my amazing niece, Karlee Snell.
On June 28th, after enjoying a performance by The Fray at Milwaukee’s Summerfest Music Festival, Karlee was involved in a serious scooter accident that left her with severe facial injuries and a long, painful road to recovery.
About Karlee
Karlee is a bright, compassionate young woman with a heart for service. After graduating from the University of Montana, she dedicated two years to AmeriCorps VISTA, helping underserved communities through economic and workforce development programs. She's always been someone who puts others first, shaped by her parents' love and values, Hank and Lisa Snell.
What Happened
The accident resulted in multiple traumatic injuries:
Fractures to her jaw and sinuses
Loss of several teeth
A need for multiple bone grafts and dental implants
31 stitches, with potential future plastic surgery
Doctors estimate it will take up to two years of surgeries and healing to fully reconstruct her facial structure. When Karlee heard this, she felt overwhelmed by the long road ahead.
How You Can Help
Even with insurance, Karlee will face $19,000 in out-of-pocket expenses over the next two years. This includes:
$9,500 per year for surgeries and treatments
$1,000 for co-pays and lost income from time off work
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her recovery. Your generosity can help ease the financial burden and allow Karlee to focus on healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Please Support Karlee
If you’re able, please consider donating to help Karlee rebuild her life. And if you can’t give right now, we would be deeply grateful if you could share this campaign on your social media to help us reach more people.
Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support.
