Help Karla’s Journey to Survive and Thrive!

Hi, I’m Melissa! I’m Karla’s bestie and I’m making this Gofund to help her back her feet. After her cancer diagnosis and chemo/radiation treatment, multiple surgeries, and ongoing health issues, she is really struggling with her mental health and mental state. Recently, she has had some new diagnosis, and has started new medication, but as we all know those take time to start working. She has been really struggling, and is not doing well.

Recently, some friends came together to get her to Austin for support, friendship and love. Karla hopes to stay there a little longer, but is overwhelmed with paying for different expenses; medication, food, transportation around Texas, and transportation back home.

When Karla goes back to Washington she knows her long term disability will end this year, and she is still waiting on the federal one.

With your help Karla can pay for some of her current expenses and help her get back on her feet. It’s an overwhelming thing to do, and she’s asked me for help. Unfortunately, I’m not able to help as much as I wish, so I hoping some of her friends and loved ones can help support Karla so she can be hopeful, happy, survive, and thrive. Cancer and her mental health issues have taken a toll on her, and she deserves to be hopeful and happy! She just needs a little help to get there.
