Support for Mike Jr Louismet's Family

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Michael Louismet Jr., who left us on August 12, 2024, just two days after celebrating his 47th birthday. Mike was a true hometown hero, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who made an impact on everyone he met.

Born and raised in White Bear Lake, MN, Mike was the kind of guy who excelled at everything he put his mind to. He was a star on the football field, baseball diamond, and wrestling mat, always giving it his all. But his love for fitness didn’t stop there—Mike was the guy you’d find at the gym, kettle bell training with his Uncle Dave or rolling around with his duct tape buddy Brock, pushing himself and everyone else to be their best.

Mike had a real soft spot for old movies. He loved nothing more than rewatching his favorites and quoting them back to anyone who’d listen. In his eyes, every movie he watched was the best one yet, and he had a knack for making you feel the same way.

Mike was preceded in death by his mom, Peggy Lee Jackson (Jim); his dad, Michael James Louismet (Ellen); and his brothers, Nathan Louismet and Louis Munoz.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Karla, and their kids: Travis, Evelyn, Anthony, Noah, Adeline, and Mikey III, who were the light of his life. He’s also survived by his sisters Mindy (Danny, Joslyn (Tucker) William, Lainee), Callie (Brian, Paige, Lauren), and Sarah Louismet (Owen, Eeli); his sister-in-law, Perla (Edgar, Julie); and his mother-in-law, Reyna Munoz. So many Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and extended family who loved him so much.

Mike was the kind of guy who never met a stranger. His love for family, friends, and fitness, along with his endless enthusiasm for life, will be remembered by all who knew him. He’s left a big hole in our hearts, but also a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that we’ll carry with us.
