Help Karla Replace Her Catalytic Converter

On Monday, June 6, the production assistant for the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Houston, Karla Martinez, had the catalytic converter from her vehicle stolen during rehearsal for HMS Pinafore, joining the ranks of those Houstonians hit by this crime wave.
Thieves target catalytic converters because of the platinum content, which makes replacing them very expensive...in Karla's case, with the accompanying damage to her exhaust system, over $3,500.
Several of us in Houston G&S would like to help her out with this undeserved expense. We, and she, would greatly appreciate any support you can give.
