Hey friends and family,

I (Emma) started this GoFundMe for my mom, Karla. As most of you know, she was diagnosed with cancer in November 2021. It was sudden and unexpected, and her doctors recommended that she quickly begin chemotherapy. With this quick diagnosis and fast-tracked treatment plan, there was little to no time to financially plan for this. Because of the effects of chemo, my mom has been unable to work as much, and along with the medical expenses, the basic necessities have also fallen behind due to less income. I am asking for your help to get her caught up on bills and set up with some savings again. Doing so will help alleviate the stress of financial struggle and give her the time she needs to heal and beat cancer.

She has always been the type of person to give the shirt off of her back, and it's her turn to be the receiver now. We are grateful for all of the support we have received, and will receive, as we walk along this journey together.
