I’m going to be super transparent. David has been sick, he’s under treatment, but the meds have been keeping him feeling sick. He has missed work a couple of days a week for the last couple of months, but he ran out of vacation days to cover, and since his boss changed him from salary to hourly after his FMLA paperwork was submitted, we’ve come up short on rent because he had to take some unpaid days. We were able to pay rent thanks to some help from family, but I’ve also been looking for a second job. It’s hard to find something that works with my day job. I’m supposed to be starting dental work because I have a few teeth that are needing root canals soon, but I don’t have any money. My credit cards are maxed out, and in the last four months my credit has taken a nosedive into the “poor”. This morning I woke up with the unmistakable toothache of a molar needing a root canal, and it is painful, and I don’t know how I’m going to function through getting a job and waiting three weeks to get paid after said job before I can get the dental work done. I went to a dentist in Mexico, but even there it will be like $8,000 dollars worth of work. Of course, I can pay as I go, but I need like $1200 to even get started. Life has been financially rough since Covid, and I feel like the stress has taken some years from my life. I’m hoping some of you guys know of somewhere where they are hiring evening or overnight shifts in Tucson, or remote work. I’ve been looking and applying to places already, but so far no luck. I’ve also taken graphic design gigs on the side, which has kept food on the table. Ultimately what I need help with is getting started with my teeth, so the pain can go away and I can function. Any help would be welcome and appreciated, however, if you cannot help at this time, I still really appreciate your time. If you can share the link, that’d be amazing.
