Our family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives, and we are reaching out with hope in our hearts for any help you can give. My mother, Karla, is currently fighting for her life. She was first admitted to a public hospital in Honduras, where she underwent five surgeries. Sadly, throughout that time, the doctors were unable to properly diagnose what was really happening to her. Instead of improving, her condition worsened. We made the difficult and urgent decision to transfer her to a private hospital, because we truly felt that staying there meant losing her. By the time she was moved, her condition had become critical. She developed a severe bacterial infection, and now she is in a coma, fighting every second to stay alive. Right now, she is receiving the care she desperately needs, but it comes at a very high cost. We are trying to raise funds to cover her medical expenses and keep her in the private hospital where she has a chance to survive. This has been overwhelming for our family emotionally, physically, and financially. Watching someone you love in this condition is something we wouldn’t wish on anyone. But we are holding on to faith and hope. We humbly ask for your support—no donation is too small. Every bit helps us continue her treatment and gives her a fighting chance. En este momento, está recibiendo la atención que tanto necesita, pero tiene un costo muy alto. Estamos tratando de recaudar $30,000 para cubrir sus gastos médicos y mantenerla en el hospital privado donde tiene una oportunidad de sobrevivir.

Esto ha sido abrumador para nuestra familia emocional, física y económicamente. Ver a alguien que amas en esta condición es algo que no le deseamos a nadie. Pero nos mantenemos firmes en la fe y la esperanza.
