Help Karl Straume after being flooded from his Kenai home

Donation protected
Hello! I invite you to help one of our Conam family recover after the latest flooding in Kenai.

Karl Straume, electrical foreman on the NDB Pikka project, was flooded out of his home in late January. The Kenai River washed away 2 years of restoration efforts and all the family belongings, again, because he was flooded out in 2023 during another Peninsula winter storm event.

Homeowners insurance was canceled after 2023, so there will be no relief coming from that avenue.

Since January, Karl and his family have had to stay with family and friends, deciding on what the next steps are to starting over.
The immediate need is to get a home for his wife and 3 children.

Karl takes care of things - his family, his coworkers, and his project. He showed up to work his rotation, never complaining about his recent turn of events. He is doing what he can to start over.

Let's do what we can to give him a hand at getting that start.
Thank you for your generosity.
