I'm raising funds to help my father, Karl, who is battling stage iv colon cancer.

Karl has been living with the diagnosis and pain for months now, and urgently needs treatment. This has been impeded by financial barriers, as he was living in the US for a number of years, where the healthcare system is challenging. Due to that, Karl packed up his life in Las Vegas and drove 3,700 km to move back to Ontario. Although Karl was born in Ontario and is a Canadian citizen, he still needs to wait a few months to be covered under OHIP, but needs to start treatment as soon as possible.

Your donation would help lessen his financial strains of treatment until OHIP begins and help pay for medication, renting an apartment near the hospital, a specialized diet plan, winter clothes, and any other services.  Every little bit counts and is appreciated.
