We are starting this GoFundMe for our sister, Karina Yanez. Our sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The cancer has spread to her liver, abdomen, and lungs. The last couple of weeks since her diagnosis have been a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty. She was in good health until she started feeling symptoms late August and after multiple Dr visits, tests, and scans, she received the cancer diagnosis. She has been in and out of the hospital the last two weeks to deal with complications to her liver and the battle has just begun. She has received her first chemo treatment and has 5 more to go plus surgery that is still needed.
