This is Karin, she is my best friend. She is sweet, funny, and loves the LORD. She has been going through a really tough time lately, including multiple family health issues and the passing of her best friend of 40 years.

Last week, her car began making weird noises, and she took it to the shop only to find out that the shop deemed it a liability and wouldn’t let her leave the shop driving the car because it could possibly be a danger to her or any other drivers. It’s undrivable and dangerous. The axle nut is loose on the passenger side and has caused a lot of damage that is estimated to cost anywhere from $3100 to $3500 or more because there could be more damage once they start tearing things apart. At this point, it is going to cost more to fix this car than it’s worth. Here lies the problem. Karin is single, low income, and disabled with mobility issues. Due to her many health conditions, she has multiple doctor's appointments weekly and also does her best to help take care of her parents who live a mile or so down the road and have their own health issues.

Since she is low income, she is like many of us that have to live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have anything in savings for emergencies such as this. We are asking that anyone who can and feels led to please help pull together the funds for her to get a used car or even a down payment would help.
