Help Karim and his family in Gaza

My name is Iliana, a Chicana Activist from Texas. Over the past 100+ days, I have been actively protesting, I went on an 21 day hunger strike, I been advocating at city council meetings, and

creating content to raise awareness about the ongoing Genocide in Gaza. During this time, I have also been providing financial assistance to my friend Kareem and his family, as well as 94 other individuals in his building, using my own funds. While I have never sought help before, the escalating costs have made it increasingly difficult for me to continue supporting them on my own. These past 100+ days have been incredibly challenging for Kareem's family, myself, and the entire community, as no one has been able to work or receive salaries due to the current situation. Their lives have come to a standstill, and they are uncertain about how they will meet their basic needs. I humbly ask you to consider making a donation, whatever amount you are able to, to support us. As an Instagram influencer, I have lost collaborations due to my advocacy for Gaza and no longer count on the extra cash. Please help me in assisting Kareem and his family as they struggle to survive this genocide. My greatest fear is that they will go hungry because what I send won’t be enough. I cannot do this alone. ‏My name is Kareem, and my family and I are in Gaza. We are in need of your help, so we may purchase food, clothing, diapers, milk, and necessary supplies so we may try to rebuild our home, once we are able to.

‏My family consists of Ninety members, extended family, which includes, mother, father, siblings, relatives and several young children. Our home has been severely damaged by the occupation- the windows are broken, the walls are lined with holes from bullets and shrapnel, and we are not safe. Our children are hungry and cold, but we are all still fighting to survive this genocide.

‏We are without electricity, which means we are left cold in these winter months, especially as the windows in our house have been broken by the occupation. We have little to no protection from the elements, and we are all are extremely uncomfortable. Nowhere is safe in Gaza, not even our beloved home.

‏With your donation, we will be able to support our family, so our children don’t go hungry. Inflation in Gaza is currently extremely high- this means that the funds we receive will not stretch as far as they usually would, especially with a large family to try and feed and clothe. Any donation would be so helpful and extremely appreciated by each member of my family.

‏The situation in Gaza has never been easy, but it has also never been as dire as it is right now. My family is depending on donations to provide for our children, so they won’t go hungry or be cold.
