A few weeks ago (July 2025), Kari-Jo was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. We want to be there for her, her husband Mike, and her son Garion during this battle. For years, Kari has been fighting the effects of rheumatoid arthritis, which has limited her social activities and lifestyle. While she has always had a positive attitude with her medical condition, this new diagnosis was devastating.

Kari-Jo is attacking this cancer immediately, already scheduling radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Most likely, surgery will be required in the coming months. During this battle, we want her to focus on her treatment and her recovery. I would like to ask family and friends to help her, Mike, and Garion during this battle. Since her immune condition does not allow her to be around large crowds, this will be an online-only fundraiser to help offset medical costs and income loss during this time.
