As some of you know, my boyfriend Mike's mother, Kariene, has been battling cancer for roughly 5 years. Last week while in the hospital, she was told that the cancer had progressed to the point where it has surpassed the continued use of chemotherapy or other types of treatment. She will be returning home shortly with the aid of hospice and her other son Matt. We are looking to raise some additional funds to cover unexpected expenses in the near future, such as final costs and other unexpected circumstances.
