Additional Help Kari Heal After Two Major Oral Surgeries

Since September 2025, Kari has been navigating an unexpectedly long and difficult medical journey involving two major oral surgeries. During the first surgery, all of her teeth were removed—an intense and life-altering procedure that required months of recovery and significantly limited her ability to eat, work, and function day to day.

After months of bed rest and slow healing, Kari began to regain some physical stability. However, in January 2026, her dental team informed her that a second surgery was medically necessary. On January 21, 2026, she underwent another major oral surgery, restarting the healing process once again.

In addition to the physical pain and complications, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Kari was recently informed that there is an outstanding balance of $2600 from the first surgery that must be paid immediately before any further treatment can continue. She is also facing at least $2600 in upfront costs, with the possibility of additional expenses as recovery continues and future treatment needs become clearer.

Since September, Kari has been largely unable to work due to prolonged bed rest, difficulty eating, and additional ongoing physical symptoms. The emotional toll has been heavy—months of pain, uncertainty, depression, anxiety, and worry have made each day a challenge. Asking for help does not come easily, especially when the length of recovery and total financial need are still unknown.

Medical providers have strongly recommended that Kari prioritize rest and healing. After years of pushing through chronic symptoms and “being strong,” her body now requires time, care, and support to truly recover.

This fundraiser is to help cover urgent medical balances, ongoing treatment costs, supportive supplements for the healing of her bones,muscles and digestive system and basic living expenses during recovery. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will help relieve the immediate financial pressure and allow Kari to focus on healing rather than survival.
