Help Karen's Daughter and Grandchildren Stay Housed

Hello, my name is Karen and I’m trying to help my daughter in the only possible way I can. She has been in and out of the hospital with my grandson since January and we are finally getting answers we’ve all been praying for. While in the hospital recently with her son, her husband left her, completely helpless. She was solely dependent on his income because back in October she was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, which completely took so much from her. It rendered her unable to work. She has a 9-year-old daughter with Autism and a 20-month-old son who just got diagnosed with hypotonic cerebral palsy, and focal dysplasia. He says very few words and does not eat anything but liquid. He’s in speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, as well as feeding therapy. Their landlord has been very gracious up to a point. They are two months behind on rent and facing eviction. Her husband took his income and ran and left them there to face this. I am unable to help financially, so I’m doing this because it is the only way I know how to help right now. All of her son's medical doctors are here in Texas, as well as her daughter's and hers for that matter. With just finding out answers and getting diagnoses, getting evicted and being homeless is the last thing they need to worry about right now. They have applied for disability and are waiting for it to come through but were told it can take up to 10 months. What is owed is $5585; any more would go towards bills and rent for further on.
