The sudden and tragic early departure of this beautiful human being has sent shock waves through the hearts of so many. Jay Mehta was a consummate friend to all with an ever-present smile on his face and warmth about him that would pull you in and set you at ease. He was a kind and loving man to us all, yet the love he had for his “Lady Bridges,” as he so endearingly referred to Karen, was so very special. They shared a bond with one another that was, and remains, steadfast.

This loss of her spouse and life partner is a heartbreak so crushing, it permeates to all of us who comfort her now. Also crippling is the financial burden this loss presents.
