Help Karen pay her cancer bills

Karen is one of the hardest working most selfless people I’ve ever met in my life. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 4 years ago. At the time she was given 6 months without treatment, 2 years with treatment. Well, she is still with us! Unfortunately there is no way for her to get rid of the cancer but she is currently able to stop it from spreading with costly medications. She rarely missed work even while undergoing intense chemo. Not only does she work for us roughly 50 hours a week she takes on side jobs on her days off and has never accepted a handout or asked for help. Even with insurance she is struggling to meet her bills each month and recently cancelled scans due to lack of funds and UVA taking her to court (shame on them, she currently pays UVA over $500 a month on various payment plans). I am unwilling to stand by and allow her to cancel potentially life saving scans, so I have started this go fund me in hopes to raise some money to help her get the scans she NEEDS and to alleviate some of the financial stress in her life.
