Our dear friend and coworker has recently been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. If you know Karen then you know that she is one of the hardest working women around. She has been a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist and radiographer with Atrium Health for over 25 years. Karen will have her port placed on July 21 to begin 20 weeks of chemotherapy on 7/24. These treatments will deem Karen immunocompromised and, because of Covid 19 hospital guidelines, she will be unable to return to work until her treatments are complete. Let's help Karen kick cancer to the curb so that she can focus her time and energy on healing, her long time husband Joe, her twin boys John and Anthony, and her most favorite kitty McLovin.
