My mother-in-law, Karen Miley, has struggled through a long list of medical issues over the last 35 years. She has been diagnosed with several autoimmune conditions in the last three years, but, most recently, her body has declared war on her teeth. She has already invested some of her finances for a portion of her dental work, but there are thousands of dollars needed to get her mouth healthy again. She is tired of her soft diet of pudding and soup, and she dreams of enjoying a juicy burger.
